Kyrgios Announces Withdrawal From Player Field

Nick Kyrgios has withdrawn from the player field due to shoulder injury.

“Hey New York Open fans, really disappointed I can’t make it this year. I was really looking forward to playing on the black courts at NYCB Live. My shoulder has flared up and I am not able to play. I hope everyone still goes out to see the great tennis at the New York Open.”

“We are excited to have a star-studded player field featuring Australian Open quarterfinalists Milos Raonic, number one ranked American John Isner, former champions Kevin Anderson and Reilly Opelka, plus many top-rated ATP stars,” said Peter Lebedevs, Tournament Director.

“We regret to hear of Nick’s injury and wish him a speedy recovery and good luck the rest of the year.”
